What Are You Listening To Right Now

Listening to Susanna Hoffs - formally of The Bangles. I think the guys on the forum will appreciate this vid. ;)

I didn't think you would, what's to complain about? hot chick wearing very little - win win situation to me. ;)

No need to make me sound like a pervert! :box:

She's wearing a bit too much if I'm being really honest.

Seen what she looks like these days? She's got better with age. :D :whip:

Hawky, life is a *****. Sincerely sorry for your loss.

Nightwish, first time ever I heard of them, great tune, great voice! reminds me a bit of Nina Hagen (very controversial German singer that came from the cold long before the wall crashed, did opera, jazz, rock, punk, metal: you name it, always on the limits, with an amazing voice range, but also a political animal with a message, a Lady Gaga long before the Marketing Guys even had started to contemplate such concept...).

Some stuff she did in English that I like from her (95% is German, and generally much better than her US adventure):

Her (traditional) "Habanera" from Bizets Carmen surely one of the better interpretations, her hardcore and ounk ones are classics (Detroit, Tokio, Montreux, all on youtube)...:

No subtitles required! :p

I'll happily translate for anyone that has difficulties with the language being used. Geordie is my 3rd language after Scottish and then English! ;)

(Mrs CF is a geordie - it's a sexy accent ).

For Big Tex:-D. For those of you who aren't familiar, he had a bad year and became a little 'hot under the collar' this year. I'm sure next year we'll have a fresh new cowboy standing in his place. Rest in peace Big Tex with all your memories. There will be plenty more to make as a new generation is here to stay. Not to replace the old, but to usher in a new age of technology which is not so new after all.

Still following up on Nina Hagen, came across this one, from Gaetano Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor: “Il dolce suono”, sung by Albanian soprano Inva Mula, while the role of Diva Plavalaguna was played by French actress Maïwenn Le Besco.

From Opera to Trance on an instant... Did not like the movie, but the soundtrack, yes...!
