What if things were upside down and Russia was good guy?

Let’s pretend that things are upside down – the U.S. is the best friend of Syria and Russia is the “good guy.”

What would have happened in a situation similar to the one we are witnessing now in Syria?

So our team of experts sat down and wrote an imaginary script.

Here it is in a nut shell.

President Putin is in his dacha and gets the updated details about the chemical massacre in Syria. Ten minutes later Russian navy ships in the Mediterranean get the order to use all they have. Dozens of targets in Syria are hit in minutes.

President Assad is in his bunker and trying to call Putin. There is no answer.

Assad calls other Arab leaders, and promises with tears to surrender his huge stockpile of chemical weapons to the U.S.; “come and take it, I don’t need it,” he says.

You forget one thing: Putin isn't Obama, and Russia isn't America.

You can see a guy dressed in black who is running and firing off an AK, one of the Slavic gangsters, authorities say. One of the Armenians, a 23 year old, was also later found dead, apparently bled out from his wounds as his friends tried to get him medical help, so they just got rid of the body, threw it out of the car, and drove off.

This sort of thing happens all the time over there, government doesn't give a ****. The rich and powerful are safe in their armored cars and bombproof mansions, behind walls of heavily armed bodyguards, many grow up that way

The others, not so fortunate, don't matter.

We don't really have to imagine what things would be like if the roles were reversed as we can get the exact scenario just by looking at the Palestinian perspective, Currently Syria drops bombs on civilians and the US goes to the UN which is then shut down by Russia and China, last year it was Israel dropping bombs on civilians, the UN getting wound up and the US shutting it down.

We know where the problems with the UN lay but until someone is prepared to get rid of the veto power rogue states with powerful friends will continue to get away with murder.

We know where the problems with the UN lay but until someone is prepared to get rid of the veto power rogue states with powerful friends will continue to get away with murder.

Just about any state gets away with murder these days.
