what do you think is the cause for more americans lost in combat

Politics, bad leadership, fear, overwhelming odds, surprise attackts. or just plain bad luck.
There are alot of reasons why soldiers die in combat.

I think its just the fact that with lead flying through the air and explosives going off and people trying to kill you its impossible not to have any casualties. Its war, soldiers die.

Of the two, which causes more casualties than the other, I think its fairly impossible to tell.
