I've always enjoyed the resident evil games. RE4 being the best of them.

I have played Resident evil...and didn't like them...wasn't scary, but my sister and her boyfriend played SH 2 and said it had both of them crapping their pants...

Resident Evil 2 - was scared to death when the dogs jumped out of the window 8) Otherwise the Elvira games were pretty cool but perhaps wrong to classify them as horror.

The Suffering is pretty good. Very violent, however, and not really for kids.

Fatal Frame had good 'creep' factor.

Doom 3 had me pretty scared.

You guys ever heard of the game Turok? I think thats what it is called. I know it wasn't meant to be scary, but sometimes it got me to jump.
