WCC - Web Cadet Corps

I'm baaaack~ Sorry I was on leave, personal matter. Anyways, now that everything is back to normal I would like to say sorry for sounding a wee bit arrogant. It was not my intent to say that. I welcome any criticism that you have to say.

If that was your goal probably not the best idea to put it on a forum. People discuss things on forums....

Well I did apply for the direct entry officer course. So that says to me that you can apply to be an officer right off the bat. I signed up under the pseudonym "bob walker". Is there anything you can actually do on the site? aside from learn things and do tests to progress through the ranks. No games no comps? Just a place for self gratification and socialising? If that's it thats cool ( a bit boring though) the UI is also lacking.

Hey Captiva, so you are Bob Walker lol. I sent you an email. Anyways, I have been planning on implementing a milsim to give the members of the corp a way to put all that knowledge and training to use. I do socialize a lot with the members on the forums but I do go through the training and stuff just to have the knowledge of military operations of a unit and such.

In regards to the UI, if you have a way to improve it we would really appreciate any assistance you can bring, as well as any other techy's in here.

Also I heard you signed up for an officer position? I guess you could sign up directly but it would be faster if you could do the required BT and ETP as well as trades and qualifications. Return the email I sent to you and we'll get started.

Hey there, Matthew Angel here. I just came to let you lot know that the WCC is still looking for new members to join the ranks. With your individual experiences you could help mold this corp and improve it.

If you have any questions feel free to message me privately, or post in the section below.

What's the task and purpose of the web cadet corps? You're trying to recruit...so sell it to me. I'm already an active duty us army officer that will be promoted to captain any day now. I've already got several overseas posts under my belt both in and out of combat. I came in as a joe and worked my way to where I'm at. I'm married with an infant daughter and another one on the way....what would the web cadet corps do for me?

Sir, I would like to thank you for taking the time to respond to this thread and for your service to your country.

The WCC is a community with the task of promoting learning and understanding of military forces from around the globe as well as useful general and special knowledge. We also promote self-discipline, loyalty, camaraderie and a sense of achievement and self improvement. You also get to meet new people from other parts of the globe who are either in the military, retired, or are in the cadets for their respective forces.

As an officer who has years of experience under his belt, you would be a valuable member of this community who could help cadets through their career and give them a wealth of knowledge. You would also be able to help evolve our current training regiment with more up-to-date information. I know that there are afew members of the WCC who are either currently or retired from the US Military who help in their own way and would be better equipped to give you more information if need be.

From my experience in the corps its always has been a healthy environment and worth the effort, patience and time to put into helping the corps even though I am one of the few who has zero experience in the military and all my knowledge is based on my own research and what I have learnt through their training.

I hope that I was able to help explain who the WCC is and that you will consider checking us out. If you have any questions or need more clarification on something I will do what I can to answer it or redirect you to those above me.

Again, thank you for your time.

Kind Regards,

Corporal (A) Matthew Angel
