Hi there everyone,
We have just launched a new YouTube channel called 'WarArchives' this week. This channel is designed to make exclusive and in some cases unseen war/military footage available to the public free of charge and in HD. There is footage from the Battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa right up to the capture of Saddam Hussein in the second Gulf War.
This is only the tip of the iceberg however. We have over 90,000 video clips in our British Pathe film archive dating back from 1897. Obviously, we cannot upload all our videos so do feel free to take a peak at our website.
We are discovering new videos everyday of excellent military footage, some shocking and in some cases not suitable for youtube and can only be seen on the website.
