My names Jonathon Riddell, and joining the military, and making it a career is my goal in life.
I'm 16, and my mom has agreed to give me parental consent to join at 17, and living in ontario the goverment has agreed to let me leave school to apply.
The CF site doesn't offer alot of info, on what they are looking for and I was just wondering on first hand experience, if there are any tiny things I need to do or say to make this process go easier.
I'm in good enough shape to qualify, my criminal record is clean, I have a grade 10 education ( i want to join the infantry so thats acceptable), but i don't have anyone impressive for them to call and tell them I'm legit.
In my interview ( if i make it that far ) do i tell them I wish to pursue being in SF later in my career? Or is that to much, because i know some people would take that the wrong way and see me as a person who doesn't understand what I'm getting into.
Thankyou for any useful comments
