I took some photos yesterday - no smoke, but a good view from Portland, Oregon.

Originally, I started taking images for a link from my web site at http://www.mdvaden.com so visitors from out of region that stumble upon my site can see our region.

Not only can we see Oregon's Mt. Hood which is an hour east of Portland; we can see Mt. St. Helens which is our north view.

My zoom even got Mt. Rainer yesterday.

The images were put in my online albums...

The Mountain Shots are in the FOREST FLOOR / PACIFIC NW album and I think in the OREGON album.

I almost went up the hill between Beaverton and Portland today to take Mt. Hood's photo again, but figured I'll get several opportunities.

We have a strong dry cold east wind today and the air is very clean and clear on this sunny day.
