Video Games v.s Real Life

I have a friend who thinks that the act of Quickscoping from the Call Of Duty games is possible in real life, Obviously I don't think it is, in fact, I'm SURE it isn't

For those of you who don't know, "Quickscoping" is when one is using a scoped non-automatic gun (More often than not, a Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle) and, while standing up without any way to steady your aim, you aim down your scope for a split second, fire and then cease using the scope.

Bear In Mind I Have Never Fired A Real Gun Or Even Seen One In Person (Aside From When I Was At A Police Station With A Relative Who Works There And They Showed Me The Confiscated Guns That Were Waiting To Be Destroyed). So This Is Mostly Just Guesswork.

I guess it is POSSIBLE but if you're actually trying to hit something you might as well be shooting in the opposite direction, I would assume that a sniper rifle has pretty piss-poor stability and accuracy without the assistance of laying down or using a bipod. And on top of that you are only getting a glimpse of your target from the scope for a split second, which I would guess doesn't exactly help matters.

In Short, I was wondering if there was any truth at ALL in the concept of it, I would bet my sanity to guess that there isn't any. And don't even get me started on the whole "360 No-Scope" Crap.

Also, I've heard many, MANY veterans bag everything about the unrealistic nature of the series (Understandably, seeing as I can't find anything that seems accurate). But, as many of you have military experience, is there anything that stands out for you that the games got RIGHT?

I play counter strike. so I have to say in my opinion a lot of things in this game don't look like realistic. the same thing I can say about design of skins, cases etc.

Guys, do you think that it's OK to download games for free or not? I mean, those games that actually cost some money. The thing is, I managed to find the and I don'y know if that's a good idea to use it this way or not.

Personally given the poor quality of many games these days I would sooner download and try before handing over any cash.
