Important computerized information about veterans remains at risk of being stolen from the Veterans Affairs Department, government investigators say. The report by the Government Accountability Office was issued more than a year after a computer hard drive containing personal information for 26.5 million veterans and active-duty personnel was stolen from the home of a V.A. employee.
