TOPEKA, Kan. -- Marine veteran Timothy Allen DeBusk will not spend time in prison for falsely claiming he received the Purple Heart for service in Iraq so he could get a special license plate. Shawnee County District Court Chief Judge Nancy Parrish sentenced DeBusk, 27, to two consecutive eight-month jail terms Tuesday but suspended the time behind bars.
