As A VFW Post service officer I received this notice from the California Veterans Service office.

Various service organizations are authorized to assist veterans with VA claims. VAS (Veterans Affairs Service) is not one of those organization.
VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), American Legion, DAV (Disabled American Veterans), and a few others have accredited Service Officers that can help veterans. None of these Organizations charge for this help.
