On November 6, 2006 an attempt to remove the aircraft carrier from the pier - for its $60 million restoration - was temporarily put on hold by the Coast Guard. Despite the use of several tugs with a combined 30,000 horsepower, officials say the ship is stuck 24 years worth of accumulated silt and will not move. The problem is currently under evaluation by maritime experts, and it is unclear when another attempt will be made.

In my short stay in the Navy I got all the way around the world twice. That's not mentioning all of the short cruises I made.

They actually paid me to take the trips!!!!
