"Platoon, are you motivated?"
~"Motivated, sir!"
"I cant hear you!!"
~"Shock troops, devil dogs, blood sucking war machines
Ready to fight, ready to drill, ready to die but never we will
We are mean, we are lean
Rio Rancho ROTC
We are rough, we are tough
Kick your butts, cant get enough
Semper Fi, do or die
Drill, drill, drill
OOOORAAH!"

no kinnding...you'd think we were about to head to Iraq or something. its weird...some people make fun of ROTC kids at my school, but we are more dedicated than any of them are! :)

Timothy p.Dunnigan-down by the river

down by the river we took a little walk,we ran into China than we had a little talk....

Combat Talon rollin' down the strip,
Recon Marine on a one way trip!

Mission top secret, destination unknown,
He don't even know if he's comin' home!

Stand up, buckle up, shuffle to the door,
Jump right out and shout MARINE CORPS!

If my chute don't open wide,
I've got a reserve by my side.

If that chute don't blossom true,
LOOK OUT CHINA, I'M COMIN' THROUGH!...

ok here's one we use at competition:

CMDR " Motivation ready!!"
UNIT " Sir, yes, Sir!!"
C " Motivation ready!!"
U " Sir, yes, Sir!!"
C " Then Motivate me!!"
U "Sir yes Sir, We are motivate, super dedicated, no slack sir ::two taps of rifle butt against the deck:: no slack sir, Ooh Rah!!"

oen for the boots.

Had to give you an inspirational one from my boot camp experience in the early 90's.

When standing in mob formation near the rear hatch, Sen. Drill Instr. would start with

Reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa--DY <collective inhale from recruits>

SEAT !

(platoon would seat with leaft hand left knee right hand right knee etc.)

Upon which time in fluid motion we would all exhale and sound off.

Discipline Sir, Discipline...

--Thought you may enjoy.

damn all of you are so lucky. im stuck in a school with army j.r.o.t.c. it sounds like the marine r.o.t.c. is better.

At NJROTC we do two things kind of like this: A simple "Motivation Check!" And everyone replies "Ooh rah." And another is something like "Motivition Drills" "Motivation, motivation, ooh rah, sir. Dedication, dedication, ooh rah, sir. Motivation, dedication, motivation, dedication, ooh rah, sir!" Kind of simple. Don't really know how common this one is.

I NEED MOTIVATION CHECKS
HERE ON THATS GOOD

Platoon, are you motivated?"
~"Motivated, sir!"
"I cant hear you!!"
~"Shock troops, devil dogs, blood sucking war machines
Ready to fight, ready to drill, ready to die but never we will

Another one we've recently been doing is a take on that cadence count. It's just
"Count cadence, cadence count, count cadence, count."

Navy and Marine Corps
Ooraa.
Raa-haa.

At our recent Drill Meet at Neptune, we didn't take home any valuable trophies, but we won the Spirit Trophy. Everytime we were in any formation, when we fell out it was "Aye, SIR!" Like as loud as possible. And we ALWAYS did a different cadence call everywhere we went. Even while crossing the street and stuff we were doing cadences. It was great.

UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS!

When I worked with my guys at the #624 Tisdale RCAirCS we did a few cadences, but it wasnt like that, let me see if I remember them:

Squadron Warrent Officer: Squadron what's you name?
Squadron: We dont care cause it's all the same.
SWO: I asked for you name
Sqn: We are 624, we know who we are
SWO: What do you do?
Sqn: We fly low and fast,
SWO: What can you do?
Sqn: We can kick their *we used a$$ untill the CO banned us, so we substituted it for tails

here is another one:
R-O-W-D-I-E
thats the way we spell rowdy
Rowdie, rowdie
Lets get rowdie!

SWO calls squad to attention and says attitude check singing guy

one cadet steps out front : hey do you know that singing guy?
squad: what singing guy?
cdt: you know that singing guy
sqd: what singing guy?
cdt: the one that goes (in croaky voice) "Lovin you
whole sqd: Is easy cause your beautiful
do id dodo, WHAAAAAAAA!

thats all the ones that I can remember
