America is known for the eating disorders in general. Anorexia is a problem *more then you think* also, partially because of the "you are fat" image sent out by everybody so concerned about obesity.
Karen Carpenter would be alive today if some reporter had not written about "the chubby little Sister" in his column. That's mentioned by her Brother everytime he's interviewed, which is seldom.
