US Patches

looks like a common army blanket to me. but then im ex air force: what would i know about army blankets: they put us up in hotels for TDYs! :p

But after looking at panel 1: if those are two genuine 45th infantry Patches, you got a real treat from the seller or donater.

Yes, it is Army blanket for background. The collection was assembled as far as I can determine in the 40's early 50's. It was in a VFW Post that was formed in 1922.

Some patches could be Patch King, but in general most would have come from men who wore them. They are lightly hand stitched to the backing, not as heavily sewn as would be for wearing on a uniform. They were protected by a polyvinyl clear plastic and are in excellent shape. I removed to get photos.
