unknown ammo

Hello.
I'm Mike trying identify some old ammo i found. Found this site online.

Two unknown pieces one marked DEN 42 -about the size of a .308 and the other is marked WRA 43 -pretty sure it's .50
 
Thats a pretty scatty description that you've given, but it sounds like a 45-70 or or 50-90 Sharps. Google "45-70 Wikipedia" they have photos of both alongside a 30-06

WRA is the headstamp for Winchester Repeating Arms and DEN is Denver, the numbers should be the year of production.

Any chance of a photo?
