The Unit will be released in few days. This book is not recommended for those under 18 and the easily disturbed. The closest read to The Unit is "Starship Troopers" by Robert Heinlein but unlike the Troopers, The Unit features disturbing concepts in addition to plenty of violence.
Short synopsis:
In 2112, the nation states are crumbling under overwhelming debt and growing bureaucracies. Under these ruins arise group of large corporations with a set of mechanisms to violently collapse the system of nation states and push reset button on entire humanity. At the heart of all these mechanisms, acting like a system within the system and their beloved child, stands a nameless special operations unit few times referred to as Unit for Rapid Enforcements and Drastic Changes but known among its soldiers simply as - The Unit.
