You know what lemontree. Smarten up. AA is respectful towards your ideas I think you shouldn't flame him about his ideas. He actually wanted to stop talking about the 62 incident while you just heat things up. Good job. not.

Anyways, in my opinion I don't think Indian/China relations will be too great. An example of it could be right here...
EagleStrike,
He was just trying to be sarcastic about a simple post made by me in the 'Fiercest battles' thread.
I have no hatred for the Chinese/PLA or PRC. My best school buddy (in India) is ethnic Chinese. I fact you may not be aware that in Indian army circles, the '62 border was is considered a boon in disguise which jump started the growth and development of the Indian armed forces.
Indian mainly blame Nehru and his govt for that war, the anger of Indians is directed towards him for mismanagement of that issue.
Only childish comments are what gets my goat.[/quote]

I am aware of the short comings of my country and also it good points.

EagleStrike,
Try to avoid nasty private messages. It is rather brave of you to abuse someone sitting miles away, you showed some maturity.

Yes I do know and have studied it well.
The causes of the war was diplomatic failure on both side.
Since you already have an opinion there not much I can say. But did it ever occur to you that what you know could help me or somone like me understand this better, because so much of the Indian and PLA reocrds are classified.
Only the regimental unit records have some facts, from where mil historians have written books. Contrary to what you think, the books give all the short comings on the Indian side and don't hide any facts. These are not propaganda books, and so they are found mainly in military liberaries.
So if you feel you are right, then I'm no one to argue. To each his own.

well in terms of literature the article you posted with a hyperlink is in the range of prppanganda.

but however, on another topic, propanganda is very funny sometimes, just read the patrotic war by a soviet writeer, man did that crack me up

as for propanganda, i dont think i have heard much of it from china, because as for the jap war, civil war, and korean war, the books described that heavy caslities are taken daily and that lost battles occur, which is amazing true to the history books

most of the stuff made for westerns to read was during the cultural rev, which had yes, propanganda and you all believed that all literature china ever manfactured was prpoanganda
