UK considers not purchasing JSF's

There were request about links to the site where I got this information about this plane. Well if you look at the top of the article you will see the heading MoD which is the site for the Ministry Of Defence. A quick link to the public site is as follows http://www.modoracle.com/

Thanks. I've found a article which suggests that Australia could pull out of the project -> http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/us-warned-that-15b-fighter-jet-deal-is-in-danger/2006/03/15/1142098528306.html

It's being contagious

Finally perhaps the JSF doesn't contain so many secrets... :???:

Rabs, you can navalyse any jets, but you have to make new avionics, which means (almost) build an new aircraft...

The downgradeing of the JSF to very stealthy was a way to convince congress of the need of for the F-22. While the JSF is still just as stealthy as ever beleived there was just some concern that those in congress beleived the JSF was as stealthy as the F-22.

Thje JSF is not just a carrier plane it would also be used by the American Marines to replace their Harrier. They also need plane for close air support with out having to worry about runways.

The Marines' and Navy's lists. The Air Force wants the F-22 far more than they want the JSF, but once again politics are bungling things up.
