BAGHDAD, Iraq_A U.S. Marine helicopter crashed in Anbar province, west of
Baghdad, leaving two of the six crew on board missing, the U.S. military
command said Wednesday.

The UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter went down on Tuesday during an "area
familiarization" flight, said a statement by the command. It said the
incident does not appear to be the result of enemy action.

It said the aircraft was located and search and rescue efforts are going on
for two missing crew members. The remaining four are in stable condition, it
said without giving any other details.
