I can't argue with that but I still imagine the logistical requirements and difficulties of supplying and maintaining the British forces during the Revolutionary war were far greater for than those of the rebels.

Given that the Confederate forces had very limited naval and artillery capacity there is little they could have done to interfere with Union supply runs into these places.

Couldn't really interfere with supplying occupied ports, but CS cavalry regularly burned RR tressels & captured isolated posts, burned wagon trains.
