I always loved the detective series they did as part of their shows, the world lost a very funny man with the death of Ronnie Barker.

Hey there Brit,
Thanks for the guffaws! I've never seen that series before. AND I was raised on Public Broadcasting System, where a lot of Britcoms get aired.
Cheers,

The Two Ronnies were compulsory viewing in my house as a child, that and Tommy Cooper and Morecambe and Wise.

No doubt we'll see some of it over the Christmas period.

The old man used to almost make us watch I think it was Dick Emery and Dave Allen, I never really got into Emery's comedy but though Dave Allen was excellent.

I used to like Victor Borge as well, I still chuckle at his joke about how as a kid he would spend winter at home in front of a roaring fire which was odd as they didn't have a fireplace and the Opera Rigor Mortis by Giuseppe Verdi or Joe Green to you and I.

I still remember watching Tommy Cooper die on stage, and the audience laughing thinking it was part of the act!

People laughing as he died. He wouldn't have wanted it any other way!
