Two French journalists have been taken hostage by a militant group in Iraq.
The Arabic TV station al-Jazeera broadcasted a film of the two Frenchmen Saturday.

The militants had called for France to overturn a law banning Muslim students from wearing headscarves in state schools.

Looks like it didn't matter for the terrorists that France was against the war in Iraq..
 
No, I hope this signals to Europe that the war for these people is not just against the US, but against Western principals (Although I myself dont agree with that ban in question)

Are these Al-Zaqawali (spelling?) people? I dont think Sadr is in the hostage taking busssiness of foreigners, at least not on the level of beheadings, etc...
