AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - Two Dutch soldiers serving as part of the NATO mission in Afghanistan have been killed by a roadside bomb late Saturday ., the Netherlands' Defence Ministry says. Another was seriously wounded.
Ministry spokesman Otte Beeksma says the men were killed by an improvised explosive device near the outpost Tabar in the southern province of Uruzgan. Their families have been informed.
The deaths bring the total number of Dutch fatalities in Afghanistan to 23 since 2006.
