'Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!

I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.


When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys

They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!

He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink

He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!

On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi'
He screamed at the pairs!

They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn't stand up and fight!

So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DON'T WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!
 
Well if America does become the socialist state you no longer wish to be a part of, the only thing you can do is move. Nothing you do will convince hundreds of millions of people that the socialist way is the wrong way.
Just like here, nothing I do or say will ever convince these people that they are inviting China to dominate this country yet again and have Korea exist essentially as a vassal Chinese state.
They just won't get it.
Until it happens and it's too late.
Countries rise, and countries fall. When the Pilgrims decided that the UK was no longer the place they wished to be, they moved to the New World. When Nationalists in China realized staying on the mainland would mean death, they moved to Taiwan. If it's out of your hands, it's out of your hands.

I see it more along the lines of a live television event where you have people trying to discuss a serious issue and in the background you have annoying kids making faces and shouting over top of the people you are trying to listen to.

Ya know, I think that it's just everyone is tired of the pizzing and moaning and all the political misinformation from both sides. It's just gotten to the point where a majority of people can't take it seriously anymore.

Take your own advice then, switch off. Listen, the politickins done here, for sure. Don't worry, you can still hear the bitter squabbling going down if there is any more to come here. If you can't smile about politics then you must need a tickling -stick. And here and now you can't change a damn thing. I've never known you to be particular about where to stick your oar in before. Be like Obama - smile, damn you -smile.

You know I would agree with that if it was more of a bi-partisan effort but given that almost all of chain mails and misinformation is aimed in one direction I see as less of a "lets have a laugh" and more of a trolling attempt.

Certainly one of the primary reasons I believe these things are trolling attempts stems from your own statement "Ya know, I think that it's just everyone is tired of the pizzing and moaning and all the political misinformation from both sides.", if this was genuinely the belief these people held then why would you post more topics that you knew were going to generate more "pizzing and moaning"?
 
You maybe right, but I was having a conversation the other day and the concenus was (from both sides) lets get it over already.
