Turkish Foreign Ministry delivered a note to Iraq today that reminds Iraq of its responsibilities especially in regard to fight against terrorism," Government Spokesman & Justice Minister Cemil Cicek said on Monday.
After the meeting of Council of Ministers, Cicek underlined that Iraq was the source of ethnic terrorism that caused killings in Turkey. ,

After this diplomatic note Iraqi President Talabani called Turkish President Erdogan on Monday. Stating that they attached great importance to relations with Turkey, Talabani underlined that they were also exerting efforts to have good relations with Turkey.

When Turkish Prime Minister reminden Barzani's words in a television interview that "Turkey was not allowed to intervene in the Kirkuk issue and if it did so, they would interfere in Diyarbakir and the other cities of Turkey", Talabani told that they are really sorry about these words.

Blah... Absolutely Minister of Foreign Affairs. I think we shouldn't use abbreviations :) Because of misunderstandings :)

Turkey's a good example for Iraq to follow, a nation made up overwhelmingly of Muslims that quite some time ago rejected any form of government where the Mosque has control over the State, Turkey has moved towards closer relations with the West, when other leaders of the Muslim world are calling for Jihad and demanding the heads of Western journalists on pikes for their depictions of Mohammed the Turks are the gentle voice, calling for peace, seemed like there was less outrage over the characatures in Turkey than there was in France and the UK.
