Toplam her iki sistemden 6 adet alınması beklenmekte.

It's basically saying that the deal is set to be signed in July for 2 new MQ-1s and 4 MQ-9s. Turkey is in great need of aerial UCAV-based seek & destroy capability in her own war on terror. Combined with the Israeli Herons already in service with TuAF, these birds will provide an excellent stop-gap measure until Turkey's own TIHA-A/B unmanned vehicles roll out. :pirate:

I think it's an outstanding and practical choice.
Turkey's investing its money on something that has a future.
I totally agree. UCAVs are the future. But Turkey needs them today! We already have UAV surveillance/aerial intelligence gathering capability; what we lack is the quick response. Turkey's mountainous southeast is a major hive for PKK terrorists. You spot them, report to command, and until you can get fighters or Blackhawks full of commandos to the area they all disappear to their caves like cockroaches sensing light and danger.

It'll be a new ball game soon. Shoot on sight & ask questions later. :santa:

Hell yeah.
Nothing quite like not knowing if there's an armed drone up there just waiting for you to bust out an AK-47. Then, BOOM!
