Trud: Sweden to lease aircrafts to Bulgaria

Sofia. The Swedish company Gripen International is offering the new generation Gripen multi-role fighter JAS 39 C/D on leasing, Daniel Boestad, marketing manager for Bulgaria, said in an interview for Trud Daily. “We agree to present a flexible financial solution”, Mr. Boestad added.
According to Plan-2015 for the development of the Bulgarian armed forces we will have up to 20 multi-role fighters. This depends on the budget, so on the whole run we’ll hardly manage to buy 16 pieces.
One of the proposed payment schemes is that implemented in the Czech Republic – 14 Gripen fighters for 10 years.
