Who told you to step back!!

So this sarge gets a news that mother of one of his man died,and he doesnt know how to deliver the bad news to pvt.Shepard so he lines up a platoon and says:"all who have a mother step forward"so they did,then he say"all whose mother is alive step back"so they did,then he yels "Shepard who told you to step back"

Wow. that sure was a way to let him know that his mother has passed. I would be so pissed for someone to break the news to me like that.
