Topic: Thoughts on the future: joining a pmc

I was thinking about my possible career paths I could take after I graduate from high school. I want join a pmc and as far as I can tell, most pmcs want people with military experience. So, I thought about joining the Marine Corps getting a tour or 2 under my belt. I would like to have some ideas about following this path like if I should or shouldent.

Get yourself a proper education and then a decent job.
Forget about a glorious life as a mercenary.

If you really want a military career, then become an officer and you will have many options. You will get an education as a leader, which is also highly sought after in the civilian world.

You are still young and much can change for you. Take your school seriously, work hard and the better you cope in school the more substantial your options will be in life.

Not necessarily my cup of tea here, but is this like number 5 or 6 this year?

May I ask the author out of curiosity what is so appealing about this industry that everybody claims is so prized to seek after?
