I am currently wrapping up in another forum and keep stumbling over stuff:
One of the best German Helo pilots ever (Karl "Charly" Zimmermann, 1986 Freestyle World Champion)
(R.I.P. ? anybody can confirm? Might confuse him with Siegfried "Siggi" Hoffmann, the two worked together at the time of crash):
More Charly Zimmermann stuff:
Enjoy,

Anyway, here is and old Charly Zimmermann vid where you can see him performing a nice rundown (*NOT* speed increased, perfect flying simply - though practiced 8 times before the actual shoot in ´88). Check out how he starts inverted and the rotor tip height above ground in some parts of the shoot....:9/20/89 TUCKERTON, NJ
