First a quick thanks to all our present and past military men and women. I am not a Vet but my dad who passed away a number of years ago served in WWII. I have been on a mission to learn more about his service and found this site because of some posts relating to his unit. His name was Brune Levering and he was an Army Sargent in the 1258th Combat Engineer Battalion. He landed in France on January 8th , 1944 and went all the way to Germany. He was in the Battle of the Bulge and the Bridge at Remagen. He said at one point his unit was attached to George Patton. If there are any other veterins or relatives of the 1258 i would love to hear from you. Sincerely, Brune Levering Jr. Thanks again
