Hahahahahahaha you're just too funny Bulldogg!!! But I am too structured and punctual for mediteranian employers. So I only work the North-Western part of Europe. But my boss could be Italian as far as I know, his metophors are just like Berlusconi & Co.

Hi Ted, that was actually what the leader of the left called Berlusconi on their second tv debate the other night. The metaphor was originally by Jack Lang.

HAhahahaha, I thought it was very funny! Great show... real entertainment. Not much good for a political debate, but certainly family entertainment. I wish we had more of that in Holland

p.s. Doesn't Mussolini have some great grand daughter that could pick up the gauntlet and make Italian politics into an even better soap?

"Not much good for a political debate but certainly family entertainment", yeah go and tell him to the leader of the left who used those words.

As far as Alessandra Mussolini, yes, she's Mussolini's great grand-daughter and she leads a tiny party (0.6% according to more recent polls). It is on the far right side of the political spectrum and she says it has nothing to do with fascism. It is a "social right" party, as we call it. Actually closer to socialist ideas than any other party of the right.
Do not forget that Berlusconi can do without this 0.6 % of her votes, while Prodi (the left) could never think of winning without the 12-15 % of its two Communist parties in the coalition. So who's more extreme? Hehe.

That is just a matter of opinion. The communists aren't the best of leaders in an international Europe. But the right wing has it's own flaws too. I am more and more in the centre where most of our political issues are debated and the solutions are doable. All the rethorics brushed aside, all parties will have to have the blessing from the opposition. Otherwise they won't last long in the political arena.

I hear that the Mussolini woman is actually good looking, is that true?

I wasn't drawing a comparison between the Communists and the extreme right, I highlighted how a leader who gets support from a 10-15 % of hardcore communist votes is more extreme than one who gets support from a o.6 % of far-right votes (out of a total 48-50 %).

This is Alessandra Mussolini, she's not like a supermodel but she used to be an actress:

You can find "more interesting" pictures of her from when she was an actress by googling up her name.
