the armor on the tank is good. "tanks not for urban warfare". this new electro armor for tanks is it really that good or should we stay with old thick and harder armor

We'll be using conventional armor materials for few more decades to come. The development of any kind of "force-field" armor is still in it's infancy, we have yet to find something to definitively stop the majority of threats to a tank, and the power consumed by these systems require something more than the tank can provide.
