KABUL, Afghanistan - Two Taliban suicide bombers struck in Afghan provinces in the south yesterday, killing four people and wounding 14.
One of the bombers attacked a US security firm's convoy in Kandahar province, killing two civilians, but he was fired upon and exploded before he could ram his car into the vehicles.
Another terrorist blew himself up near a police vehicle in Nimroz province, killing a policeman and a civilian and wounding eight passers-by.
Security was tight in some parts of Afghanistan on the seventh anniversary of 9/11.
