Taliban say kill Afghan vote candidate

KABUL (Reuters) - Taliban insurgents said they executed a
candidate in Afghanistan's September 18 elections and four
other people on Saturday, while in the west an official said
troops had surround gunmen holding a kidnapped Briton.
