Symposium in World War I History

The WFA East Coast Branch (USA) is proud to sponsor The Fall 2012 Symposium in World War I History which will be held on Saturday, November 10 at the Fort George G. Meade Museum, Maryland.

The symposium will feature presentations on the 332nd Infantry AEF in Italy, Kaiser Wilhelm's Final Days in Exile, World War I in East Africa, and "Blacker's Boys" - an infantry regiment of the 36th Ulster Division 1914-18. Also included will be door prizes, refreshments, a catered lunch at the Fort Meade Officers' Club, and a Branch-sponsored rare and out-of-print WWI book sale. Attendees will also be able to tour the museum which features a heavy concentration of WWI artifacts including a Renault FT 17 tank, and a Mark VIII Liberty Tank.
