This is a good indication of exactly how skewed and one eyed this debate has become.

The secrets were not stolen by Assange,...... and if he did not publish them, do you honestly think that they would have remained secret?
there are any amount of media outlets that would have paid top dollar to do it.

If he does fall victim to foul play, it won't stop anything, but it will convince the world that what he was doing was right, the same as those publishers in Russia that keep getting knocked off for outing the criminals there.
