There are trillions of $ overseas that US companies have earned but won't repatriate because of a 37% Tax, end it & the money comes home. Also look @ the Fair Tax.

I was so glad that Obama called out the Supreme Court on this during the SOTU. Obama finally showed some spine and absolutely blasted them. It was a joy to watch Alito squirm. He was responsible for this disaster, the him and the other 4 who voted for this mess be called out publically for it.
Personally I would suggest Obama to propose a Constitutional amendment that bans Corporations to donate in political elections entirely. I challenge any politican (left or right) to even attempt to vote against it.

You're wrong, most Democratic Money comes from private donations from individuals. That's exactly how Obama raised his war chest.
Furthermore I said corporations, not non-profit organizations which are made of US citizens not foreign investors. And do you really think the GOP would willingly let go of the NRA donations, that accusation cuts both ways.
There is a difference, organizations like labor unions and the NRA have limited resources, corporations have UNLIMITED resources. They can literally keep spending money until the candidate they want wins. No non-profit organization on earth has that amount of funds.

Originally I posted on here that we should give the man a chance, well its been a year, I have yet to see any change that affects people on my level, except bad effects.
But also as I said after the election, he is out president, as Americans we should support him, like him or not.
Oh and tell those idiots that Obama is NOT a Socialist, or a leftist.

Unfortuntatly the campaigns do not publish the exact final breakdown of figures so this is the best I could do. In the interest of full disclose Ill admit this article was written 5 months before the election and only refected monies recieved until June 2008, by Election day Obama warchest was over $800M. I do think its fair to say that the trend of Obama donations coming from individuals (mainly raised from the internet) continued to election day, I found no evidence to suggest otherwise.

So from April-June 2008, 55% of Obama funding comes from individuals giving more than $200 and 30% gave the maximum $2300, this being Special interest Money.

Personally as long as none of it came from muslim sources I really couldn't care less, cause like you said its only a Democrat vs Republican pissing contest, does it really matter where "X" amount of money came from? At eth end of the day the one thing I have noticed in the 46 years I have here is that whichever party is in the white House, the big corps get what ever they want, and nobody gives a dam about the common people, as long as we spend, spend, spend, pay,pay,pay, without getting any more in out checks each month
