Here it is condensed. This is a very good missle but I will nto say that it is the best for two reasons. You never know what a country has tha tis sitting around secretly and waiting to be used and you never know how good something is until it is used in combat.
Here is what I think I remember/know. It has a max range of about 250km which is inside the area that is observed by the carrier/escorts. This weapon was bought by the Chinese to use it against carriers although this bugger is really fast Although if it were used again a lone ship it might have better sucess. The Ruskies were way ahead of us in missle techonlogy in the Cold War until we caught up. It can be launched of a ship or a fighter (SU-33 I think, it is a carrier version). Launching off a ship will decrease its range and the Chinese don't have aircraft we do and these fighters won't be able to manuever that well with that big ol missle. So we could hit them with ARAMs from far away (Phoneix missle is retired if you didn't know). Chinese can be fanatical though, so I will give them that.
This missle looks very good though. I know for a fact that it is much faster than our Harpoon anti ship missle. Our carriers better keep their buttholes puckered.
