The Chi-Coms use that pattern in Tibet. The PRC Army and PRC Military police use it. I don't know why but they do.

Very close to Flecktarn. Interesting.

What's so interesting. The Chi-Coms make copies of everything else. They make knock off t-shirts, gear, and uniforms in Flectarn, MARPAT, Woodland, Tiger Stripe, CADPAT, DPM Camo, etc.... for the world market. What makes you think that they won't use some of those products....

The Russians use a pattern called Flectar-D. where do you think the Chi-Coms got their samples of the pattern. Cheaper than Dirt Catalogs?
