Some intriguing voting practices they have in Texas

I wouldn't say "interesting",... I believe that the word is "Criminal", but after all, they are politicians and obviously consider that they are not bound by the same rules as the rest of us.

For some reason, it doesn't surprise me though.

I don't know if it is criminal or not, it is apparently a breech of the house rules but may not be against the law.

My initial impression was that it reminded me of a multi-player whack-a-mole game with people diving in all directions to push buttons.
 
Maybe not criminal as defined in law, but certainly criminal in a moral sense. If lawmakers can get away with this, why should we obey the statutes that they introduce?

Why is the Speaker (or his US equivalent) not taking these people to task about it?
