The Europeans built up the infrastructure in Africa, not the US. What China is doing in Africa can not be called to support the countries in Africa. China wants the natural resources in Africa and gives a damn about the living conditions of the native population. China supported and prolonged the conflict in Darfur.

China is not assisting Africa, China is assisting China building road and railways so that they can plunder the mineral riches of these countries. They are doing exactly the same as the Europeans did more than 100 years ago, we learned the error of our ways but China has not.
