She personified the leftist movement in America during extremely difficult days of the war in Vietnam. She put a face on the howling, vermin infested, dope crazed, so-called youth movement against the war and, unforgivably, against the armed forces of our country. Yes, I said against the soldiers who were dying face down in the mud while they marched around calling them baby killers and murderers. She ruined her career and her life, which is of some consolation to me.
