Shaving in the military

Just after shaving for work and its killing me.

So I want to now is it better to shave after a shower or before a shower?

I think that the best military shaving culture was pre WW11 in India, where my father-in-law used to wake up at reveille already shaven.

Lots of Paddies, Jocks, and Taffs in my Troop. And I´m a blimey Limey.
It's a hell of a circus but tough guys each and every one.

Well my option isn't there, I shave during the shower.

Use the suds from soap or shampoo you wash your hair with, plenty of warm water and you are done in seconds, obviously I don't use electric razors even though the wife got me one for xmas but I am on to her plan.
