Good parents don't put the responsibility of raising their children on the teacher.

I agree with you wholeheartedly! Unfortunatly I have met too many parents who didn't know resposibility from a hole in the ground. My rambling are based on my experience in Holland, but I can't imagine the the States or Canada don't have the same problems. Because we often see their kids more then they do, they easily shift their resposibility.
