Its so good to see such a beautiful aeroplane being brought to airworthy.:bravo:

It is being made airworthy isn't it?

I have heard that the Burma Spitfires is a bust. Someone said there are no Spits buried there

Yep it will fly and it is apparently staying in the country this time as well and will be grouped with a FW-190A-8/N at Omaka, Blenheim.

I am assuming this is not a genuine FW-190 but rather one of the new ones made using the original plans by Flug Werk GmBH, Germany.

There is a genuine one here somewhere that was undergoing reconstruction for an English company which went bankrupt but I don't think that is it, I think that was an Fw-190F-8.

Well if they're gooped up with cosmoline, they'll be ready to go. As soon as they get the cosmoline off (good luck!).
Maybe I'm wrong, ut that cosmoline will last just about forever. I once bought a MN M44 that hadn't been fired since WW2, was cosmo'd after Berlin fell, and I bought it still wrapped in the original Russian wrapping paper for $60. It took me several weeks to get the cosmoline out of it. But once it was, she was a beauty!
