I read a lot of threads that have either been locked or had the author repremanded because they had not done a search before they posted. How about a search box on the index page so this problem is cut down upon?

The search should be visible enough were it is now...

The search link will appear on the green menu bar when you are logged in, and under the "forums menu" when you are logged out..

Hey Redleg, I know that I ask for a lot, and I have no idea how this could be done, but could there be a way to make the search function a little more visible? I'm finding myself constantly making huge posts from my Searchies because they didn't look first...

I'll see what i can do about the search box/button...
