I read a lot of threads that have either been locked or had the author repremanded because they had not done a search before they posted. How about a search box on the index page so this problem is cut down upon?
 
Better now?? ;)

The search link will appear on the green menu bar when you are logged in, and under the "forums menu" when you are logged out.. :)
 
Ah! I never noticed that we had a search function! See, the thing is that I'm blind in one eye and I can't see out of the other one, so I didn't see it there :D

Hey Redleg, I know that I ask for a lot, and I have no idea how this could be done, but could there be a way to make the search function a little more visible? I'm finding myself constantly making huge posts from my Searchies because they didn't look first...
