All I have to say is thank god that speech is over.
^^ Hehe. You thought that too, huh?
I agree, bitterness does not become you TOG... Honestly, you're resorting to insulting the names of her children because she outperformed your candidates? Childish, to say the least.
If that's your response, guess who else is grasping at straws.I agree, bitterness does not become you TOG... Honestly, you're resorting to insulting the names of her children because she outperformed your candidates? Childish, to say the least.
Outperformed as far as speeches went... I never said who would make a better president... She got the crowd much more into it than say Bill Clinton, or Michelle Obama. I didn't catch Biden's speech, so I can't say for sure on him, but she gave a wonderful speech as far as the point of a speech goes.If that's your response, guess who else is grasping at straws.
Outperformed? Condi Rice would be a better vice president than this woman.
It's in the speech that I'm picking apart. It's fair game. And you completely diverted my accusation. Please come up with a legitimate reason for having made fun of her children's names. Or else delete the comments, as they bear absolutely NO RELEVANCE to this election.
Didn't see anything else worth responding to. Can't comment on the first one (missed Clinton's speech) and the last one isn't directed at me.But it has no relevance in the election process... The man who votes for who's children has better names would do the world a favor and not vote. And again, you choose one section of my post to respond to... Cmon man, argue!
Just bothered me that people (aka the media) are making such a big deal about little facts in her personal life just because she's a woman republican who actually got the chance to run. Like the press peeing their pants when they found out her daughter was pregnant... What does that have anything to do with her election campaign? Or saying she doesn't have time to tend to children and be a VP... Obama's running for PRESIDENT and he has little girls...[/rant]
I see, well, in that case, I guess you're excused from the rest of the post.
1. I'm not a Republican, don't affiliate me with them. 2.I complained about them bringing up Obama's past as well. I hate it when politicians pay so much money to smear other campaigns and hardly any money on promoting their own views. Therefore, number 3, I am NOT attempting to create a double standard.See here is what I dont get. You claim that people are "making such a big deal about little facts in her personal life just because she is a women republican". Yet at the same time, your party openly attacks obama for going to a certain church, or attending a party where a terrorist happened to be. These would all be defined as personal facts. Should we start claiming that the entire republican party is racist? Why are you attempting to create a double standard here?
Again, probably just politics... He took the martyr route "people will respect me if I take the high ground and don't respond."WNxRogue said:Honestly, the Republican party must be getting extremely desperate if they are falling back to the "if you criticize palin, you must be sexist" excuse. I have yet to hear obama state that those who attacked him must be racist, so obviously it must be a desperation move to try and cover up the obvious flaws that have been discovered with Palin, both in her policy and her concistancy.
An excellent point... I am personally against abortion, but I have conflicts about our government telling us what we can and cannot do with our personal life. But the press should still leave them alone... People make a huge deal about her not having enough time, but Obama's parenting never gets questioned.WNxRogue said:And what people were saying about her daughter is well summed up by someone I was watching on TV (I honestly cant remember who, it might have been John Stewart Lol). The Palin campaign said that her kid having a child was a personal choice for the daughter, and should be left alone by the public. And I dont completely disagree. But at the same time, Stewart said "Why is this issue a personal choice for the daughter, but yet Palin wants to take away the personal choice of Abortion for every other family in America?". Honestly, I think that is a valid question - you cant have it both ways.

Absolutely a valid question- so here is a valid answer. On one hand is the creation of life; on the other, the destruction of life; you can't have that both ways.
